After published Part 1 Series, I have spent some time in researching and finding experts that teach you what are a useful link to your blog/website. Last week I found great Interview of Samuel Scott {is a Director of Marketing and Communications for Logz.io} in this Interview, they Said Link building almost equals publicity nowadays and also provide effective ways to Publicize Content for link generation.

After checking around 4-5 or more blog post which related to link building. I found a Common thing in every blog post. Which is = (Personal Branding) you can increase your branding by outreach, helping niche blogger, speaking at conferences, conducting Interviews, getting press coverage, connecting with mentors, guest blogging, and other techniques.

Also, great word said by Neil Patel about Personal Branding-

As my personal brand has grown through toil and hard work, my marketing efforts are now much easier. I can essentially generate new business growth simply by force of my personal brand. 1. What is Importance of Link Building Today as far as you’re Concerned?

Link building is the prime measurement tool of Google search algorithm. You get high ranking as per the number of quality backlinks you get for your blog posts.

This is one of the factors which is never going to die in the SEO industry.

So it had importance yesterday, it has today, and for sure it will have tomorrow as well.

2. Which is your Favorite Link Building Strategy?

Link building is a process. So we cannot say this is my favorite or that is my favorite. In my case, I go for the quality guest blogging for my niche websites, because getting guest posts is not easy for everyone.

3. What does thing need to keep in mind before Competitors website Analysis?

We do competitor analysis only and only after finding some great players after doing a keyword search on Google.

So if you competitors are ranking high for some good search terms, it’s the time to learn more about their link building strategy.

4. Please Share your favorite SEO and link Building tools?

I am not using any link building tool as of now.

5. What are some innovative link building strategies?

Guest blogging, infographics, broken link building, blogger outreach are some of the best ways to get quality backlinks.

6. What factors go into a quality link Building?

The blog must have high relevancy to your niche website. They must have good PageRank (although this ranking factor is dead now, I personally still consider it), good DA, PA, and ranking of the website.

If the website is ranking high for some good keywords, this simply means that Google is loving that website. So getting a backlink from such websites can be highly beneficial for your niche sites.

1. What is Importance of Link Building Today as far as you’re Concerned?

Link Building has changed a lot in just the last two years. Search Engines want you to be more precise and relevant when it comes to link building which is a beneficial thing. Now more than ever you must concentrate on targeted traffic as oppose to years past where all you had to do was a link to a bunch of sites, get ranked well and eventually get traffic thrown to you from search engines.

Now day’s search engines are looking for relevancy of your blog compared to others. This is key from my experience! You want to link to say who not only are in the same niche but also has similar content. If you’re in the network marketing niche and the industry you’re in is health and wellness, you want to focus on blogs who not only are in the network marketing niche, but also focuses on anything that deals with health for example.

2. Which is your Favorite Link Building Strategy?

I’m pretty basic, but my main Link Building Strategy is Blog Commenting. I love reading blogs about different strategies and tools when it comes to leveraging a blog to build a home business. I comment mainly on blogs that deal with this. This allowed me to meet many genuine, supportive bloggers who are in the same niche as I am as well as similar content.

3. What does thing need to keep in mind before Competitors website Analysis?

There’s really only 3 things I look for as far as my competitors are concerned

I look for what keywords they’re using (I use sites like sem rush or are content explorer)

Who comments and shares their blog posts

The consistency of blogging communities they’re using. If I find the same niche bloggers in different communities, then I make myself a part and consistent with them.

But in the end, I like not to look at other bloggers as my competitors but as people, I may want to collaborate with later.

5. What are some innovative link building strategies?

Best thing to do is to give and engage! You want to be able to promote others 90% of the time, and promote yourself 10%. Lately, I’ve started adding blogs to twittered, so that whenever each blogger within my niche publishes a new post, it automatically shares it on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. I also use Bufferapp to promote blog posts that I’ve read.

As you’re using automated tools, at the same time you want to be engaging with others. I engage the most on Twitter and Google+ since these are the two apps I use on my mobile phone lately. So if you’re consistently engaging and promoting others, the serious bloggers will reciprocate the same.

This builds up your reputation and gives many others to come to your blog to leave a comment and share. As I mentioned, blog commenting is my main link building strategy, and this has helped me get over the traffic bumps.

6. What factors go into a quality link Building?

There’re 3 factors in my experience

Look for blogs that have similar topics as yours
Focus on those that get a lot of shares and comments
I like to focus on 90% of blogs that are just a couple of steps ahead of mine, and 10% of high influencer blogs. If you’re consistent with this, then you see a positive difference.

Link building is still one of the best ways to show authority on a specific niche. The challenge faced by many is getting a valuable link instead of some links. I am suspecting that it would still affect Google ranking for years to come.

I have a few, to be honest. But if you are looking for one that is easiest, guest posting is definitely the best way out.

It would be your targeted market. You must have at least one buyer’s persona (if you are running e-commerce or business blog). In short, you need to know about your thing before other options are considered; analysis, marketing efforts, etc.

Personally, SEO is meant to be simple. It is us (bloggers, writers, and marketers) who make it complicated because we wanted fast results. But if I have chosen one, I will say black hat SEO. Black haters are fast in adapting to changes by Google. Are they innovative? Yes!

The website that links to you needs to have several things; right anchor text (longer ones is okay) and website authority. Pretty simple, right?

Google still loves links.

The question is: should you build links or attract them in a natural way?

For an authority site, you should aim at creating high-quality content for your audience and expect people linking to your pages, because you’re writing interesting content.

For niche sites, building links is still an effective strategy. Of course, it must be done the right way, considering the velocity and the diversity, other than relevancy.

I don’t often check my competitor’s backlinks, but I did that in the past, for some of my niche properties.

I used Ahrefs, MajesticSEO, and OpenSiteExplorer.org, keeping in mind the relevant keywords for my sites.
