How to find a perfect Niche/topic for your blog

SaurabhOctober 23, 2015

There are millions of bloggers rising day by day across the globe.

Some are at the initial stage and started their blog. Some are just thinking about how to start?

When a blogger fails badly due to wrong topic selection, he/she can’t do anything other than:

– Selling the blog at a cheap rate.

– Escape from Blogging

If you’re at stage when the questions in mind are like

– Which niche will be impressive for me?

– Which topic would be better?

– What to choose?

Then,

you’re at right place πŸ™‚

In this post, I am going to share my experience about How to find a perfect niche OR Topic for a blog.

Interesting?

Emmm…

Let’s Start πŸ™‚

Hey, STOP! STOP! Tell me about your interest. Every human has his own taste, interest, etc.

Yeah, that’s true.

Now, tell me what your interest is?

On what topic you love to write? Which topic seems interesting to you?

Either it’s tech, health OR any,

just keep in mind while creating a blog that, the topic is injected your interest πŸ™‚

Otherwise, if you don’t have an interest in the topic (you were chosen), you will not love to write about that.

1st Step: Do Some Keyword Research

Chosen the topic?

Now, check it’s monthly searches on the Google Keyword Planner tool.

Β You have to enter your topic and you’ll find keywords with their monthly searches.

Always:

– Choose a keyword whose monthly searches are good.

– Pick a keyword whose CPC (Cost Per Click) is good enough for you.

– Select a keyword whose competition is not much high.

Here the question arises, How to rank a high competition keyword? The answer is simple.

First, try to rank low competition keywords, then try to rank medium competition keywords.

Succeeded in ranking med. Comp. Keyword?

Now, you’re able to mess up with high competition keywords πŸ™‚

Remember,

Chose the right keywords? You have won half GAME. – Muhammad Ahmad

You can also collect some keyword ideas from a free AWESOME online tool called Soovle.

2nd Step: Check what your competitors are doing

Now, you’ve found the keywords, start writing.

Suppose some weeks passed and you’re not getting good results.

Search your keywords and know about your competitors.

Check them with Ahrefs Content Explorer and see which posts are shared the most.

Try to write about those topics that went viral.

This will help you to get some social media love. You’ll boost your site with fresh and unique visitors.

3rd Step: Ask your visitors

Now, you would have got some visitors, subscribers, etc.

Found an interesting topic that visitors will love to read & share?

Nope…

Ok, when all fails, you can ask your visitors to share what they need πŸ˜‰

That works πŸ˜€

Final Words

Finding the right perfect NicheΒ is half of the battle.

After you found the right topic, stick to it, the battle is yours, dude!

Your success is not far, just keep trying πŸ™‚

I am waiting for your feedback.

Catchy tips. But one doesn’t necessarily has to focus on high traffic niches. You can choose a micro niche which is easy to start.
