What are your blog’s/Website keywords?

What? Haven’t you preferred them yet?

As the SEO field is always changing for us, we must always look to enhance our processes & knowledge, mainly when it comes to keyword research.

But you possibly already knew that right…

Choosing your keywords are vital to serving to establish your search engine ranking from day one. During this post, you’ll find out how to sift through thousands of choices and choose the most effective keywords for your weblog. You’ll additionally find out about the SEO tools that may assist you in your search.

But first, What is a keyword?

The keyword is a word used by a search engine in its quest for relevant web pages.

A word searched for in a search command. Keywords; I in any order. Use spaces to separate keywords in simple keyword searching.
Consider about what a reader would search for to find your particular page.

What is Keyword Research?

It’s not rocket science webmaster like to divide it into two main parts:

Finding the search terms (also called keywords or key phrases) people enter into the search engines when conducting a search.

Understanding these search terms, about:

Competition – The quantity and quality of other websites ranking for the search term.

Traffic – The quantity and quality of people using the search term.

Why We Perform Keyword Research?

The short answer to this is to ensure your website gets maximum exposure on the search engines, and your content reaches its desired target audience.

I think keyword research is less important than it used to be. In the secular age, you can gain plenty of exposure through alternative sources such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, without ever even loading up the Keyword Research Tool.

Types of Keywords:-

Here is some Example of Keyword:-

Broad Match keyword: Ecuador

Specific keyword: living in Ecuador
Long tail keyword: what’s it’s like to live in Ecuador as an expat Ecuador?
————————————————————————————————————————
Broad Match keyword: Canon
Specific keyword: Canon time-lapse
Long tail keyword: how to make time lapse with Canon
What does all this mean? Well, it’s impossible to rank on a broad keyword. Words like “Ecuador” and “Canon” are both high traffic and high competition. You’ll need a high authority site, with thousands of quality inbound links to be able to rank for these keywords.
Specific keywords are easier to rank for – and can be very profitable. These can range from 2-4 words and narrow the topic down considerably.

Generally speaking, long tail keywords are the easiest to rank for. This can take some research but isn’t that hard. These can be very long; I’ve seen phrases from 10-14 words.

For example:

How to make timelapse with Canon
Where Can I Buy Organic Cookies?
There some other keyword types which I have listed below.

Strong Keywords:
Strong keywords have a high volume of search, and it takes up from the single word to even some Geo-specific keywords. For Example- Toyota, Apple iPod

Global Keywords: Global keywords are not location specific, and most of the keywords are targeted for .com search engines and the importance of the site listing for global keywords are not restricted to regional specific search engines.

Local Keywords:
Local keywords are location specific, and the keywords can be targeted for local search engines. Normally local keywords are specific to your language and focused country. Example: Web Design London, SEO New Delhi.

Misspelled Keywords: Misspelled keywords are formed when a huge volume of search engines users have a problem with spelling and make typo mistakes while searching for information. And also some spell different approached, and it depends on Country, In US the spell is ‘color, ’ and in Australia, it is written as ‘colour’ One good example is ‘accommodation’ word. Some ‘accommodation’ and ‘accomadation.’

Periodically Keywords: Seasonal keywords occur only at certain times of the year. A good example is a greeting card site and annual product selling site. For example, In Christmas period, users will be searching for Christmas greeting cards and gifts. Other than November and December these keywords will have the least importance.

I did research on various blog posts of great SEO niche site builders, and I thought it was a good time to re-address keyword research for 2015 and also contact with other niche site builders of AHA-Now Community. (Aha! NOW) is a multi-niche marketplace that helps you to find answers to your questions) and ask how they approached their keyword research in 2015 and how it might have changed in recent years.
